Moving to Utah

Are you planning on moving to Utah in the near future? Even if you are just considering it, there are a lot of things that you will need to remember before making the big decision. In the end you will be very glad that you took the time to do this research because of how much it will benefit you overall.

The Mountains

Anywhere you go in Utah, you will see mountains. These mountains provide a great protection from extreme weather such as tornadoes, while at the same time giving us beautiful rivers and fresh, spring water. It isn’t just the functionality of these natural wonders that brings people here, but the majestic views from afar and close-up that cause Utah’s mountains to be one of the top attractions.

While Utah may not be known for its nightlife, it definitely has made a name for itself when it comes to celebrating, by way of many festivals held throughout the year. There’s Sundance Film Festival, Tulip Festival, Utah Arts Festival and Shakespeare Festival. Utah even hosts one of the biggest Holi festivals in the world at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple, where over 70,000 people join together to dance, hug and throw colors in the air during a weekend of pure joy.

According to a 2014 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation study, Utah ranked as the best overall performing state in economic growth. Gov. Gary Herbert attributed this to government policies and programs that “empower the private sector” and advocate job growth in high-tech and middle-skill industries. Robert J. DeBry and Associates is one such company that prides itself on being a Utah firm.
